As the CEO and founder of A Mother’s Touch Child Development Center, my journey in childcare began in 1991. Over the past three decades, I have dedicated myself to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children and their families in Raleigh. My personal experiences, especially witnessing the struggles of my single mother, fueled my passion for creating a safe and flexible childcare option for working families. In 2000, I opened the doors to A Mother’s Touch, and it has since grown into three thriving locations.

I believe that early childhood education is the foundation of a child's future success. This belief inspired me to pursue a degree in early childhood administration, which equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to create programs that cater to both the emotional and cognitive development of children. My goal has always been to provide families with the highest quality care, and I remain committed to evolving our curriculum and services to meet the changing needs of our community.

Beyond my role as an educator and business owner, I am deeply involved in the lives of the families we serve. I attend school events, recitals, and athletic games, reinforcing my belief that we are part of the village that helps raise children. Every year, I lead visits to senior living communities, instilling in our children the importance of giving back. At A Mother’s Touch, we are more than just a daycare—we are a family committed to building strong foundations for life.
